Tahblik Marsanne 2009 (Australia)
 - This white wine was given 90 points by Robert Parker.  It is a Cliff & Muriel staff pick.
Tahblik Viognier 2010 (Australia) - “Ever a fan of Marsanne, I was delighted to taste the 2010 Viognier. Both varieties are originally from the Rhone in France, and are beautifully different from the mainstream.  The unique thing about Viognier is that, when it is made right, as this one is, it smells of the ripest peaches, apricots and honeysuckle – almost sweet and certainly rich, and then on the palate it is round and soft, yet savoury and textural – sort of the opposite of a Riesling! What this variety lacks in acidity – and yes it does have soft acid – it makes up for in glycerols and extract. Tahbilk has hit the nail on the head with the 2010 – a delicious wine to enjoy with a perfect free-range roast chicken, turkey and ham.”  Kate McIntyre – www.winediva.com.au
Tahblik Shiraz 2007 ( Australia) - “They’ve been making wines at Tahbilk in central Victoria for 150 years now and have a pretty good handle on the process. This is a serious red, deeply coloured with 15 per cent alcohol and firm tannins but it is also surprisingly easy to drink given these factors.Think dark berries, earthiness, a dollop of vanilla oak and plenty of dark pepper characters on the palate. While history shows this will cellar for 15 years or more it is already enjoyable.”Winsor Dobbin – The Sunday Examiner Magazine
“Giving a deep garnet-purple colour, the 2007 Shiraz is very peppery with notes of crushed blackberries and anise. The rich, primary-fruited, medium to full-bodied palate has a good amount of acid providing lift and a medium to high level of finely grained tannins, which are still a it firm in the long finish.”Lisa Perotti-Brown – The Wine Advocate
One for those who are already Tahbilk aficionados and one that will no doubt add to those numbers!  (92 points Robert Parker)
Kia 2009 (Spain) – “Brand new wine from the Can Blau estate from D.O. Montsant.  A blend of Syrah, Garnacha and Carinena that has been aged for three months in French oak.  Deep ruby red, hints of red and black fruits and spices along with soft, vanilla flavours of new oak.  A small sensation in this price range!”  (Christopher Stewart wine selections)
